Effect of TBI on neurological severity score– revised (NSS-R): Neurological severity is determined using a 10-item test with a score of 0, 1, or 2, given on each task. A greater score for a rat indicates more neurobehavioral impairment. All animals were evaluated at baseline (BL), day 3 (T1) and day 5 (T2) postinjury.
