The analgesic activity of compound A in formalin test. Vehicle and different doses of the compound A were administered 30 min prior to subplantar injection of formalin and the time spent for licking was measured during a 0-5 min (acute phase) and 20-30 min (chronic phase) period starting after formalin injection.
