Measures of pain sensitivity were obtained at baseline just prior to placebo capsule administration (T1), 15 min after capsule intake in order to enhance placebo beliefs (T2), and at the end of the experiment, following the go/no-go task (T3), in order to measure the individual placebo response (A).
