Estimated proliferation rates with the assumption of a negative effect of the CD5 level on proliferation. To investigate the influence of the CD5 expression level on the proliferation rate, ρ was replaced by ρ̂/(γ log(cd5)+1), with γ a scaling constant and cd5 the individual CD5 expression level. All other parameters in the model were kept fixed to the values estimated in Table I. 95% confidence intervals for the estimates are calculated based on the standard error approximated by the Hessian-matrix.
