Note: All ordinary least squares regression models included initial BMI as an explanatory variable (in each model the corresponding p was < 0.001) and sex, race and age as control variables. All models were highly significant (Fs (5, 201) = 21 – 27, p's < 0.001, with adjusted R squared range of 0.3 to 0.4.
