Survival curves of 9 patients with metastatic gastric tumors diagnosed ≥6.3 years after radical excision of the primary tumor (solid line) and those for 10 patients with metastatic gastric tumors diagnosed <6.3 years of radical excision of the primary tumor (dotted line). There was a significant difference in survival between the two groups (P=0.017). P-values were calculated using the stratified log-rank test.
