Effects of MACC1 suppression on the chemoresistance of pancreatic cancer cells. (A) Cells transfected with or without siRNA were treated with various concentrations (0.005-5 μg/ml) of gemcitabine for 24, 48 and 72 h and then viable cells were analyzed by the MTT assay. Each data point was presented as the mean ± SD from three independent experiments. *P<0.05. (B) Flow cytometry analysis of apoptotic cells that were treated with or without gemcitabine. Gemcitabine concentration was 0.5 μg/ml for 48 h. A representative result is shown.
