Comparison of hemoglobin variants A, S, and fetal between donors and recipients at the 6-mo posttransplant visit, contrasting it with peripheral blood chimerism in peripheral blood (unsorted) at the same time. Patients 5 and 13 received packed red blood cells within 30 days of this testing. Also comparison of absolute reticulocyte numbers (upper limit of normal is 87 × 10³/mm³), hemoglobin (lower limit of normal is 12 g/dL), and total bilirubin (upper limit of normal is 1.2 mg/dL).
