A: TNF-α (3 ng/ml) induced phosphorylation of JNK2. Expression of IL-6 mRNA induced by TNF-α (3 µg/ml, for 1 hour, B) and IL-6 release induced by TNF-α (3 µg/ml, for 6 hours, C) were inhibited by pretreatment with SP600125 (10 µM), an inhibitor of JNK, applied 15 minutes before TNF-α.
