(A–D) Diffusion weighted (DWI; A, B) and fluid attenuated inversion recovery (FLAIR; C, D) images obtained at the times indicated after onset of ischemia, in a patient who presented with an acute right MCA stroke syndrome likely from a right M1 occlusion, received conventional rt-PA treatment, and had a subsequent NIHSS score of 21. He was administered a 72-h infusion of RP-1127 beginning ~9 h after onset of ischemia.
