A-20, A-249 and A-107 were sterile and inbred lines of Salvia miltiorrhiza with different biological characteristics; BC1F1 represented F1 progeny with one backcross; BC2F2 represented F2 progeny with twice backcross; Inline graphicrepresented self pollination; A-20Sh-BA represented half of fertile plants obtained from sterile seeds after hybridization between A-20 × Sh-B; A-20Sh-BA was self pollination of A-20Sh-BA progeny.
