LPS enhances the adhesion of THP-1 cells to HRMCs. Cells were transfected with siRNA of c-Src, p47phox, p38 MAPK, ATF2, p300 or scrambled, or pretreated with anti-VCAM-1 Ab, and then incubated with LPS for 16 h. The THP-1 cells adherence was measured. All figures are representative of three independent experiments, performed in duplicate. Data are expressed as means ± SEM. #P < 0.01, as compared with the cells exposed to LPS alone.
