Monocytes were treated with (A) apoB-100, (B) apoCII, or (C) apoCIII-blocked fasting and postprandial VLDL lipolysis products from pooled normal subjects (n = 3). Blocking each apolipoprotein from both fasting and postprandial samples reversed the attenuated TNFα release.
