The proportion of naïve CD4+ (A) and CD8+ (B) T cells was higher in GBV-C viremic (G+) subjects compared to those without GBV-C viremia (G-). Results of subjects not receiving combination antiretroviral therapy (HIV viremic; HV) or those with suppressed HIV RNA on therapy (HS) and statistical evaluations are provided. In contrast, the proportion of effector memory cells (EM) was lower in G+ subjects.
