Averages and sd values of photosynthetic complex accumulation per mol chlorophyll (top part of the table) and per m⁻² leaf area (bottom part of the table) are shown for the wild type and the four different LCAA antisense lines. PSII contents were calculated from difference absorbance signals of cytochrome b₅₅₉, cytochrome b₆f complex contents from difference absorbance signals of cytochrome f and cytochromes b₆, and PSI contents from P₇₀₀ difference absorbance signals. Data were subjected to one-way ANOVA using a pairwise multiple comparison procedure (Holm-Sidak method) in SigmaPlot. Boldface values are significantly different from the wild type.
