Monthly blood collection from wild-type and Npm1^wt/c+ mice without signs of myeloproliferation showed increase in the compartment of monocytes (A) but not granulocytes (B), lymphocytes, or platelet (data not shown). Each data point was the average of at least 10 mice. (C) There were significant more monocytes (F4/80⁺/Gr-1⁻) in non-myeloproliferative Npm1^wt/c+ mice compared to wild-type mice at age of 18 months (n = 7 each).
