Relative mRNA expression levels for carbonic anhydrase 2 (Car2), Slc4a4, and Lamp1 comparing RNA transcript levels at zeitgeber time (ZT) 2400 h relative to 1200 h. The expression of these 3 genes significantly increased during the night period relative to the light period (p < 0.05, one-way ANOVA).
