TNP-470 treated limbs had significantly less woven bone formation demonstrated by (A) woven bone extent measured by microCT and (B) woven bone area measured by dynamic histomorphometry. Representative cross-sectional images of ulnae with two fluorescent bone formation labels from animals treated with (C) TNP-470 or (D) vehicle illustrate the significant difference in woven bone area. Calcein (green) was given immediately after loading, followed by alizarin complexone (red) 5 days after loading. * p < 0.05 vs. Vehicle.
