Table 2.

G2 values for the diffusion model with both lure drift rate and starting point free to vary by strength

Condition Experiment and Type of Fit
Experiment 1
Experiment 2
Experiment 3
Overall Ind. Overall Ind. Overall Ind.
Pure-between
 Weak 93 16 105 21 ----- -----
 Strong 47 19 39 14 ----- -----
Pure-within 88 38 105 33 ----- -----
Mixed 78 33 90 36 111 39

Note: The “Overall” column gives the G2 values from the fits to the overall data, and the “Ind.” column gives the median G2 value across the individual-participant fits. The weak and strong fits in the pure-between condition each have 13 degrees of freedom (22 free response frequencies minus 9 free parameters). The pure-within and mixed fits each have 31 degrees of freedom (44 free response frequencies minus 13 free parameters).
