The height of the stack of symbols or individual base signifies the level of conservation of the given position or base type, respectively, expressed as information contents. Information contents of two bits would correspond to a position exclusively occupied by a single base type. Error bars correspond to Bayesian 95% confidence intervals as estimated by the WebLogo 3 tool (Crooks et al., 2004).
