The specific dopamine transporter (DAT) ligand [11C] CFT binding in the right grafted striatum was detected using PET, as shown in this brain slice (a). Increased [11C] CFT binding was found in the right striatum, which may correlate with the postmortem presence of TH-immunoreactive (IR) neurons in the graft (b). Color-coded (activity) PET images were overlaid with MRI images for anatomical localization [37].
