(a) The percentage of TRPV1-positive neurons from lumbar DRGs that belonged to corresponding cell area was presented. At day 4, TRPV1-positive neurons were dominantly observed in small neurons (cell area < 800 μm²). The percentage of TRPV1-positive neurons were significantly increased with carrageenan and CFA treatment and further reduced with EA manipulation (P < 0.05). (b) The TRPV4-positive neurons were majorly found in medium to large diameter neurons and did not significantly alter in inflammatory pain model (P > 0.05).
