For MB CINE slice thickness was reduced to 2.5 mm while maintaining the in-plane spatial resolution of (1.1×1.1) mm². Compared to the results obtained with MB CINE using a slice thickness of 4 mm, changes in T₂ ^* from epicardial to endocardial septal myocardial layers are more pronounced, in particular during systole.
