Membranes from cortices of sham and lesioned animals were treated with 0.5 nM [³H]DPDPE in the presence or absence of 1 pM Hu-210 for 1 hour. Ligand binding assay was carried out as described in “Methods” and [³H]DPDPE binding to membranes was detected using a scintillation counter. Data represent Mean ± SEM (n = 7 animals/group). Statistically significant differences between [³H]DPDPE alone and [³H]DPDPE+1 pM Hu-210 are indicated ***, p<0.001, (t test).
