| i. Extensive (>20) intraretinal haemorrhages in each of 4 quadrants | |
| ii. Definite venous beading in 2+ quadrants | |
| iii. Prominent IRMA in 1+ quadrant and no signs of proliferative DR | |
| Proliferative DR | One or more of the following: |
| i. Neovascularization | |
| ii. Vitreous/pretinal haemorrhage |
