Genes associated with fatty acid oxidation were identified from among the significantly differentially expressed probe sets between HFD-fed WT and Ogg1−/− mice, using gene ontology terms in Gene Sifter. Gene expression changes were confirmed by qRT-PCR using gene-specific primers. n = 6 in each group.
