Mek1 and GST-Mek1-as enhance Rad54-T132 phosphorylation and Hop1-T318 phosphorylation. The mek1Δ diploid cells were transformed with an empty 2 µ vector or a vector carrying MEK1 (A), GST-mek1-as (A and C) or gst(nd)-mek1-as (C). The MEK1 and mek1Δ diploid cells express Rad54-YFP proteins (E). The expression levels of various phosphoproteins were visualized by western blot analysis.
