(A) HeLa cells were transfected with the siRNAs and plasmids shown; 48 h later, the levels of Dicer, AUF1 and β-actin were studied by western blot analysis. (C) The number of viable cells (excluding trypan blue) was calculated in cultures that were prepared as explained in panel (A).
