(A) THP-1 cells were exposed to FSL-1 for the indicated time periods; an equal amount of protein was then analyzed by western blotting using antibodies against Akt and phosphorylated Akt. (B) THP-1 cells were stimulated for 9 h with or without FSL-1 (100 ng/ml) after pretreatment for 1 h with LY294002 and Akti IV (10 µM each).
