Maximum and minimum Von Mises stresses reported for maximum predicted bite force (scaled relative to predicted bite forces in Megapiranha); distribution of stresses remains the same regardless of magnitude of applied force. Warmer colors indicate higher concentrations of Von Mises stress and cooler colors reflect lower stress concentrations. Higher concentrations of Von Mises stress indicates a greater likelihood of failure in that region of the tooth.
