(Left) The dose response curve for the inhibition of forskolin-dependent activation of adenylyl cyclase by quinpirole. (Right) (A) Activation of adenylyl cyclase in stably transfected HEK cells expressing human D2long dopamine receptors by forskolin (100 μM) (B) is inhibited approximately 60% using quinpirole (10 nM). (C) SV 293 at a final concentration of 100 nM results in a complete attenuation of the quinpirole-dependent inhibition of adenylyl cyclase activity.
