A: Responses to GABA, E14 neuron. This neuron responded to 0.5 mM GABA with hyperpolarization. Hyperpolarizing current pulses were injected to monitor change in Rinput. Vm was restored to Vrest level (dashed line) with constant DC current (DC) for calculation of change in Rinput. B and C: Response of an rNST neuron to the GABAA receptor agonist, Muscimol, and GABAB receptor agonist, Baclofen, at E16. This neuron responded to 10 μM muscimol with membrane hyperpolarization and decrease in Rinput (B) whereas it did not show significant response to100 μM baclofen (C).
