A series of fragments of the 5′-flanking USP22 promoter region is schematized. Each promoter-reporter construct or the promoter-less plasmid pGL3-basic, was co-transfected with pRL-TK into HFL1 and HeLa cells. Luciferase activities were measured after 24 h and normalized for transfection efficiency. The luciferase activity of each construct is presented relative to the pGL3-basic activity.
