In addition, MdeA did not confer significant resistance to the following antibacterials: bacitracin, ceftazidime, chloramphenicol, erythromycin, gentamicin, imipenem, kanamycin, linezolid, oxacillin, phosphomycin, piperacillin, streptomycin, tetracycline, tiamulin, trimethoprim, vancomycin, ciprofloxacin, levofloxacin, gatifloxacin, tosufloxacin, grepafloxacin, sparfloxacin, and moxifloxacin.
