Cdh1 cKO mice are impaired in their exploration in the open field task, but exhibit normal phenotypes in other behavioral tasks. (A,B) Cdh1 cKO mice spend a significantly lower percentage of time in the center and a higher percentage of time in the periphery than WT mice in an open field arena task. (C) There is no significant difference in the percentage of time Cdh1 cKO mice spend in either the closed or open arms of an elevated plus maze when compared with their WT littermates. (D) Cdh1 cKO mice and their WT littermates travel at a similar velocity in the elevated plus maze.
