Fold-changes in Italic font denote the significance level p<0.01, and fold-changes in bold font denote the significance level p<0.001. The letters “a-f”, to the right in the table, indicate female-biased gene clusters as described in the main text. The additional notation used in the table is as follows. i: intronic transcript. ^: the exact probe mapping coordinates was not specified in the array annotation file, and gene start/stop locations are therefore given according to the NCBI37/mm9 genome assembly. &: these genes showed opposing sex-bias for different probes. *: known XCI escapee gene.
