Whole cell extracts of ΔfliHI/flhB* carrying or not the chromosomal deletion in atpB, grown to mid-exponential phase in the presence of DMSO, or 50 µM INP0404 or INP0405 and normalised for OD₆₀₀, were separated by SDS-PAGE and Western blotted with an anti-FlhA antiserum. No difference in FlhA level was observed under any of the conditions tested.
