WT or IRAK4^KDKI mice were infected i.n. with 1 × 10⁵ S. pneumoniae (S.p.) in a total volume of 30 μl or mock-infected with an equal volume of saline. Survival was assessed over the course of 14 days. Graph is the combined data of 4 separate experiments with a total of 19 mice per mouse strain (S.p. infected) or 4 mice per mouse strain (mock infected) in each group.
