Viral genome synthesis was monitored using primers specific to the upstream region of oriLyt. Fold genome amplification was normalized to the amount of oriLyt DNA detected in BZKO cells transfected with empty vector (CMV). RPs represent all six EBV replication proteins (BBLF4, BBLF2/3, BSLF1, BALF2, BMRF1, and BALF5).
