UNC93B1 interacts with TLR3 and other NAS TLRs in the ER. UNC93B1 induces differential glycosylation and translocation of TLR3 to the plasma membrane where it can be activated by viral dsRNA from infected cells and defective virions and primes the responsiveness of TLR9.
