Multivariate logistic regression analysis was conducted at the following time points: (1) Pericollection (within 48 h of BM collection; day + 5 of G-CSF for PBSCs), (2) at 1 wk, and (3) at 1 mo after donation. OR > 1 indicates higher risk for BM donors, whereas OR < 1 shows higher risk for PBSC donors. Skeletal pain represents pain in at least 1 of the following sites: back, bone, headache, hip, limb, joint, and neck. The severity of skeletal pain is defined as the maximum grade among these pain sites. Other toxicity includes fever in the absence of signs of infection, fatigue, skin rash, local reactions, nausea, vomiting, anorexia, insomnia, dizziness, and syncope. The grade of other toxicity is defined as the maximum grade among these symptoms.

*

For grade 2-4 toxicities on the day of highest toxicity, there was a significant interaction between type of donation and BMI for bone pain (P = .010), other toxicities (P < .001), and fatigue (P < .001). The ORs are listed separately by BMI group.
