Compared to total interactome of 14,306 genes, the T2D interactome of 561 genes represent significantly greater number of antidiabetic drug interacting genes. A statistically significant overrepresentation was observed for all the drugs except pioglitazone in hypergeometric test with Bonferroni adjustment of p values for multiple hypotheses testing. Overrepresentation with a borderline significance was nonetheless observed even for pioglitazone. The adjusted enrichment p values are indicated.
