Locomotor behavior evaluation of spinal cord injury (SCI) rats with spine stabilization (SPCL, n=9), without spine stabilization (SCI, n=5), and animals subjected only to a laminectomy (Sham, n=5). The BBB test showed significant motor skill improvement in rats with spine stabilization, comparing to those without stabilization. Sham animals did not present motor impairments.
