Positive genetic interactors to HMG2 and HMG1 genes were selected for testing their contribution to increased terpenoid production in S. cerevisiae cells. In dark green color are shown members of the ER-Associated protein Degradation pathway (ERAD), involved in recognition and ubiquitination of ER proteins destined for degradation. GDH1 was previously identified as target for improvement of sesquiterpene biosynthesis in yeast. ADH1 is used as control. The diagram was drawn using Cytoscape open software [12].
