Canonical analysis of principal coordinates (CAP) ordination: (a) Canonical axes that best discriminate the assemblages from sites located north (Panul and Guanaqueros) and south (Limarí and Punta Talca) to the upwelling centre at Punta Lengua de Vaca (PLV). (b) Correlations of original taxa with canonical axes. CAP was significant with P = 0.005.
