The severity of abdominal pain/discomfort differed between age groups (χ² = 25.638, P < 0.001). There were no differences in Zung Self-Rated Anxiety Scale (SAS) or Zung Self-Rated Depression Scale (SDS) scores between any age groups (SDS, χ² = 390.845, P = 0.110; SAS, χ² = 360.071, P = 0.220).
