Leptin receptor activity measured by STAT3 mediated luciferase response. HEK293 cells (n = 8 separate experiments) were co-transfected with LEPRb, a STAT3 responsive element and SH2B1 splice variants beta (left) and gamma (right) with and without the infrequent alleles at rs7498665 (Thr484Ala) and βThr656Ile/γPro674Ser.
