Co-expression of Myc-DDK-tagged-HspB1 inhibited aggregates formed by the mutants of αB: Mutants of αB-crystallin were co-transfected with Myc-DDK-tagged HspB1. After 48 h transfection, HspB1 co-expression significantly suppressed the cells with aggregates caused by the mutants. The cells were examined and images were captured with a laser scanning confocal microscope.
