Each block of squares represents one sampling site (accurate points for each sampling site can be seen in Figure 1), and each square represents one individual at that sampling site. Black squares represent clade 1, grey squares clade 2, and white squares clade 3. The name of the sampling site is shown next to the blocks, and the number of samples is shown alongside. Site EE-MUDASTE actually has six samples, but only five are shown as sample EE-MUDASTE-1 is an outlier on the Bayesian tree.
