ELISA was used to determine NO and PGE₂ in media of cultured articular cartilage explants treated with 0–10 mg/ml collagen hydrolysates. Data are expressed as mean±standard deviation (N = 5). Statistically significant different from untreated controls: *0.01<p≤0.05, **0.001<p≤0.01, ***p≤0.001.
